Iron Maiden

Formados en 1975 por el bajista y compositor Steve Harris,al cual se le unió un año más tarde el guitarrista proveniente de Urchin, Dave Murray.
Fueron unos de los grupos pioneros del movimiento New Wage OF Brithis Heavy Metal junto a grupos como Def Leppard, Saxon, Samson.
Para 1977 cuentan con su primer cantante estable Paul Di'Anno, luego de una serie de cambios de formación.
Para 1979 cuentan con su primera formación la cual editarian un Lp para el siguiente año,álbum homonimo con el siguiente Line Up : Steve Harris (bajo y coros),Dave Murray (Guitarra),Paul Di'Anoo (Voz),Dennis Straton (Guitarra) y Clive Burr (Bateria).
El Lp alcazo el puesto N 4 en los ranking de toda Inglaterra, para Octubre de 1980 Dennis Straton abandona el grupo dando lugar a un viejo conocido de Murray de su ex banda Urchin Adrian Smith,con el en 1981 editaron Killer's alcanzando el puesto 12 de los rankings.
Pero Iron Maiden comenzó a crecer en popularidad y el cantante Di'Anno se marcha del grupo debido a su adiccion al alcohol y las drogas,dando lugar al ex cantante de Samson, Paul Bruce Dickinson. Con él editan The Numbres Of The Beast en 1982, primer álbum en alcanzar el puesto 1 para Maiden.
Pero no todas serian buenas para Maiden ese año ya que Burr se marcha del grupo dando lugar a Michael Henry McBrian alias "Nicko". Ya con él, grupo no sufrió más cambios. Su primer álbum editado con la "Donzella de Fierro" seria Piece Of Mind en 1983.
En los '80 serian catalogadas como unas de las mejores bandas de Heavy Metal junto a Judas Priest, en esa época editaron disco como Powerslave(1984),Live After Death (vivo de 1985) y Seveth Son of A Seventh Son (1988), los lanzan a la fama mundial, pero la década no termina muy bien,Smith no estaba de acuerdo con volver a las raices metaleras de los principios de los 80, sino que el rumbo que la banda tomo con Somewhere In Time y Seventh Son le gusto. Por eso al siguiente año en plena grabación de No Prayer For The Dying abandona el grupo para seguir con su carrera solista, su lugar lo ocupa Janick Gers, en 1992 editan Fear Of The Dark, tercer álbum en alcazar el N 1(el anterior fue Seventh Son) de la gira mundial de Fear... editan Live At Donninton,material sacado de su shown en el Monsters Of Rock. Pero ese mismo año Dickinson abandona el grupo dando lugar a Blaze Bayley con que editarian The X Factor (1995) y Virtual XI (1998).
Pero para el nuevo milenio retornarian dos glorias para la doncella Dickinson y Smith,conformando el siguiente Line Up: Harris (bajo), Murray (guitarra), Dickinson (voz),Smith (guitarra), Gers(guitarra) y Nicko Mc Brain(bateria).
Editando tres albums en el nuevo milenio los cuales son: Brave New Wolrd (2000), Dance Of Death (2003) y su último álbum editado hasta la fecha A Matter Of Life And Death (2006).
Durante dos años hicieron la gira más larga, Back Somwhere in Time, la cual se trato de volver a hacer viejos clásicos. De esa misma gira, vinieron dos veces a la Argentina en el 2008 ( Ferro ) y en el 2009 ( Vélez Sarfield ).
Al finalizar la primera parte de la gira ( 2007 - 2008 ) editan un álbum en vivo justamente llamado como la gira " Back Somewhere In Time ".
